There she was responsible for the accounting operations of the holding company as well as the managing general agent, two premium finance companies and two property and casualty insurance companies.
In 1991, Lisette was hired by the Florida Department of Insurance-Rehabilitation and Liquidation Department. As Assistant Deputy Receiver, she reviewed and analyzed all books and records of liquidated insurance companies, asset recovery and coordinated with the Fraud Division concerning illegal activities. Lisette was successful in recovering more than $30 million in reinsurance funds related to liquidated companies. She was also the recipient of the Davis Productivity Award which is an award given to state employees by Florida Tax Watch for outstanding work in the State of Florida.
Lisette's past experience with private insurers and the Florida Department of Insurance provide a unique insight into the needs of the client. Her experience during hurricane Andrew and subsequent catastrophes adds to the level of management expertise at Lozano Insurance Adjusters.
